Full Description
May 2012. Survey
Timber-framed house of 1 & half storeys. Plastered frame and thatched roof. Plan type J. Lobby and stair are lost but positions for both on north side which is the present back of the house. Clasped purlin roof with reduced principals. Exceptional chamfer stops to hall spine beam and tranverse joist against stack. Tie beams cut through. Thin walls suggest surviving frame to side walls but not visible owing to later cover. Unlisted but designation applied for by LPA. (See S 1)
