Map

April 2012. Norfolk NMP.
A broad, blurred soilmark of an intermittent bank and ditch is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2), running southwest-northeast for approximately 160m from TM 0953 9983 to TM 0963 9996. The site is situated to the north east of Burfield Hall, Wymondham.
It is possible that this may have represented some form of boundary, since it runs parallel to the property boundary to the southwest, although it is not shown on the Tithe map of 1839 (S3).
E. Bales (NMP), 16th April 2012.
