Map

April 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Two parallel earthwork ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the northwest of Burfield Hall, Wymondham. They are centred on TM 0901 9972, and have narrower ditches running perpendicular to them, suggesting that they were performing a drainage function, and are likely to be post medieval in date. A further possible drainage ditch, along with cropmarks of possible pits, has been recorded to the south of Burfield Hall (NHER 54700).
