Full Description
April 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of probable post medieval drainage ditches are visible to the south of Burfield Hall on aerial photographs (S1), along with at least three possible pits. The cropmarks are centred on TM 0908 9943. It is likely that the linear ditches represent post medieval drainage features, similar to those recorded to the north (NHER 54699), and the pit features may in fact represent tree boles.
E. Bales (NMP), 16th April 2012.
