Summary

At least three linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on land surrounding Rose Farm, Besthorpe. It is likely that all these ditches relate to post medieval drainage features, or field boundaries.

At least three linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1) on land surrounding Rose Farm, Besthorpe. The site is centred on TM 0768 9645. It is likely that all these ditches relate to post medieval drainage features, as there are cropmarks of other drainage ditches visible in the area, which have not been mapped (S2).
