Summary

A linear ditch earthwork is visible on aerial photographs to the south east of Morley Old Hall, Morley. It is likely that this ditch relates to the remnants of a strip field system visible to the east on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey map, and can be compared with a similar possible field system further to the east (NHER 12178). It is also possible that it relates to drainage.
