Map

June 2012. Norfolk NMP.
A possible ring ditch and linear cropmarks are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the south-east of Oaks Farm, Carleton Rode. The possible oval ring ditch is centred on TM 0988 9484 and measures 24m by 14m internally, 29m by 20m externally. To the north, a possible linear ditch cropmark is visible, and a second is visible to the west at TM 0963 9480. It is likely, however, that these features are modern agricultural marks and, since they are only visible on one set of photographs, they have been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), 7th June 2012.
