Full Description
June 2012. Norfolk NMP.
An area of curvilinear earthworks is visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the east of Upgate Street, Carleton Rode. The site is centred on TM 0967 9178. They have been recorded with a monument polygon around the general area, and not mapped individually, as they appear likely to relate to post medieval drainage, although it is possible that these earthworks represent land division and/or drainage from the medieval period.
E. Bales (NMP), 7th June 2012.
