Map

June 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Several undated linear ditch features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1) to the south of Wilby Warren, Old Buckenham.
The site is centred on TM 0562 9005, and consists of possible linear ditch features which may relate to a former trackway and/or possible land division. It is also possible to see a curved ditch feature, centred on TM 0548 9006, which may represent a natural earthwork undulation rather than an archaeological feature.
They are only very faintly visible photographs from one year, and have therefore been mapped with a note of caution. However, they have been recorded due to their location, to the south of two possible Bronze Age barrows (NHER 9207 and 9208), and to the east of further possible prehistoric earthworks (NHER 9209).
E. Bales (NMP), 19th June 2012.
