Map

June 2012. Norfolk NMP.
A series of post medieval to modern woodland features are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Ragmere Road, Old Buckenham. They are centred on TM 0631 9068, and consist of a large quarry or pit, with a series of rectilinear ditches at its eastern end. These ditches may surround some form of structure, and are likely to have performed a woodland or industrial function, but it is difficult to be certain as this site is only visible on one set of photographs. Most recent (Google Earth) images (S2) show the site heavily wooded and any surviving earthworks are impossible to discern.
E. Bales (NMP), 19th June 2012.
