Summary

Undated cropmark ditches are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Cake Street, Old Buckenham. It is possible that they represent medieval to post medieval boundary ditches, but are not depicted on the historic maps of the area and may potentially represent earlier boundaries or fragmentary enclosures. A possible bank is visible within the eastern enclosure ditch, although this may be a natural undulation.

Undated cropmark ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the east of Cake Street, Old Buckenham. They are centred on TM 0717 9082. It is possible that they represent medieval to post medieval boundary ditches, but are not depicted on the historic maps of the area (S2) and may potentially represent earlier boundaries or fragmentary enclosures. A possible bank is visible within the eastern enclosure ditch, although this may be a natural undulation. Since they are only visible on one set of photographs they have been recorded with a note of caution.
