Summary

The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch, which could represent the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs. The cropmark is extremely faint and has a somewhat irregular appearance, however other similarly appearing cropmarks visible within this field have been proved through excavation to be of archaeological origin, see NHER 57360 for details.

The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch, which could represent the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The site is centred on TM 1067 9944 and consists of a faint semi-circular cropmark. The cropmark is extremely faint and has a somewhat irregular appearance, however other similarly appearing cropmarks visible within this field on this photograph (S1) have been proved through excavation to be of archaeological origin, see NHER 57360 for details.
