Summary

An archaeological evaluation in 2012 revealed two narrow parallel post medieval ditches thought to be related to land drainage. Post medieval pottery consistent with manuring was also recovered, as well as a background scatter of late Bronze Age flints which indicated activity within the general location during the late Bronze Age, rather than an established site at this location.
