Summary

Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Heath Road, Kenninghall. They are situated to the north of Edge Green, and may have formed part of common edge settlement and farming in the medieval period.

Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Heath Road, Kenninghall. The site is centred on TM 0420 8519 and consists of at least three broad banks, up to approximately 10m in width, running the length of the field. They are situated to the north of Edge Green, and may have formed part of common edge settlement and farming in the medieval period.
