Summary

Six pit features were identified during archaeological evaluation and monitoring of 11, 17 and 19 Rampant Horse Street. They were ascribed to three phases, Early Medieval, Later Medieval to Early Post medieval and Post medieval. Residual medieval pottery was also recovered from a number of modern features, and four cellars and a well were subsequently found during the archaeological monitoring of the demolition works.
