Full Description
September 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Fragmentary, probable medieval to post-medieval field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S4) to the south west of Crownthorpe Roman villa and settlement (NHER 8897). Some of these ditches appear similar to those recorded to the north as NHER 54695.
The site is centred on TG 0840 0223.
At least two of the ditches, centred on TG 0852 0227 were visible on (S1) only, which makes them harder to be certain of.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 27 September 2012.
