Full Description
September 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks and earthworks of a possible medieval to post medieval ditch feature are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3) on land to the north of Overa Heath, Quidenham, stretching from TL 9907 8848 to TL 9846 8811. The ditch is not visible on historic maps of the area, and appears to cut through some earlier, possible Roman period ditch cropmarks (NHER 57428). It is possible that it may have formed a drainage function.
E. Bales (NMP), 04 September 2012.
