Summary

Earthworks of probable post medieval drainage ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the northof the former ‘Common Farm’, Roudham and Larling. Given their location, it is likely that these linear ditches performed a drainage function, in the same way as those to the south (NHER 57442), although it is also possible that they represent medieval to post medieval field boundaries or possible enclosures.
