Full Description
October 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of probable post medieval drainage ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1-S3) to the northof the former ‘Common Farm’, Roudham and Larling. The site is centred on TL 9624 9010. Given their location, it is likely that these linear ditches performed a drainage function, in the same way as those to the south (NHER 57442), although it is also possible that they represent medieval to post medieval field boundaries or possible enclosures.
E. Ford (NMP), 16 October 2012.
