Full Description
October 2012. Norfolk NMP.
An Airfield defence post, or spigot mortar emplacement is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3) to the west of, and undoubtedly related to, Snetterton airfield (NHER 9068).
The site is centred on TL 9954 9064, and may be related to airfield defences such as those recorded to the south (NHER 53396, 57438). An area of Nissen huts is visible 285m to the west (NHER 57450).
