Map

March 2012. Norfolk NMP.
A number of possible earthwork mounds were tentatively identified on aerial photographs (S1-S3), but were not mapped due to the high likelihood that they were derived from recent agricultural activity. The site is centred on TM 1330 9680. A series of low earthwork mounds and soilmarks were visible on aerial photographs in the 1960s (S1-S2), although it was not clear whether these were archaeological or agricultural. Consultation of a 1946 aerial photograph (S1) for the site did not reveal any convincing traces of these features and they were therefore not mapped, although it must be noted that no stereo coverage was available for the site.
S. Horlock (NMP), 07 March 2012.
