Full Description
July 2012. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of an undated ditch are visible on aerial photographs to either side of Halffield Lane, Deopham Green (S1). The site is centred on TM 0410 9897. The ditch is undated, but given its lack of relationship to the medieval to post medieval landscape, a later prehistoric to Roman date range would be suggested. Prehistoric and Roman date objects have been found in the wider area, for example NHER 9071, 28354 & 53776.
S. Horlock (NMP), 24 July 2012.
