Map

October 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of at least one possible medieval to post medieval enclosure or drainage ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3) to the west of Moat Farm, Stow Bedon.
The site is centred on TL 9509 9403 and consists of a north-south field boundary, or drainage ditch, with a possible enclosure at its southern end, measuring approximately 15m by 17m internally. It is possible that these features relate to post medieval drainage ditches and are not, in fact, archaeological in nature, but they have been mapped due to their proximity to the medieval moated site NHER 9058), situated approximately 250m to the east.
E. Ford (NMP), 30 October 2012.
