Map

November 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of possible medieval to post medieval field boundaries and at least one possible enclosure or house platform are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land to the east of Shropham Road, Great Hockham.
The site is centred on TL 9548 9261 and consists of a number of linear earthwork ditches which appear likely to represent medieval to post medieval field boundaries. A possible sub-square enclosure or toft is visible centred on TL 9540 9259, measuring a maximum of 33m by 30m. It has been considered likely to represent a possible house platform due to its proximity to the road and orientation alongside it.
