Summary

Metal-detecting between 2010 and 2024 recovered a Roman pottery sherd; Late Iron Age, Roman and medieval coins and a range of other, Middle/Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Middle/Late Bronze Age spearhead tip; a Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age copper alloy bead; a Late Iron Age brooch; a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch and terret; Roman brooches, bracelet fragments, a finger ring, nail-cleaner, spoon and probe terminal; a Roman/Early Saxon belt stiffener; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval mounts and post-medieval bell fragments.
