Summary

A section of possible Roman road running north west from settlement at Ixworth, to Attleborough (possibly originally continuing to Brampton) is visible as earthwork banks and ditches on aerial photographs to the east of Hargham Hall, Quidenham. A road is depicted in this location on the Tithe Map of Quidenham, and the road may therefore be medieval to post-medieval in origin, and subsequently moved to create or expand Hargham park (NHER 30506) between the 1840s and 1880s. This may not necessarily preclude a Roman origin, but as it requires a change in alignment from the East Harling to Gallows Hill section of Roman road (NHER 6116) it is a little dubious.
