Summary

Site of Friends' (Quaker) Meeting House registered in 1775. This was a brick building which had a plain-tiled roof and was demolished in 1970. Historic maps show an adjacent burial ground in the late 19th century.

Site of former Friends' Meeting House registered in 1775. The building had brick walls and a plain-tiled roof. The broad three-bay front had a pedimented wooden porch between two wide segmental-arched windows. This building was demolished in 1970.

There was also a Quaker burial ground to the east of the Meeting House, depicted on the 1886 map of the town.
