Summary

Metal-detecting in 2012 and 2020 recovered a Roman coin and a range of other metal objects, including a Middle Bronze Age rapier fragment; a Late Bronze Age socketed chisel fragment; a Roman copper alloy bead; Early Saxon brooches and a girdle hanger; a Late Saxon buckle; medieval buckles, a mount, binding strip from casket and lead pot mend; a medieval/post-medieval purse bar fragment and lead weight and post-medieval buckles, coin weights, a harness mount, lead weight and lead cloth seal.
