Summary

Metal-detecting in 2012 and 2014 by Elden Tours recovered Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Bronze Age copper alloy awl; a Roman Dolphin brooch; a Late Saxon strap end; medieval buckles, a strap-end, strap mount, harness pendant, purse bar and the spring mechanism from a padlock; a medieval/post-medieval button and copper alloy vessel fragments and post-medieval buckles, harness mounts and a pair of dividers.
