Summary

Metal-detecting between 2012 and 2022 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins and a range of other, undated and Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include undated copper alloy casting waste and lead weights; a Late Bronze Age sword blade fragment; a Late Iron/Roman mount; Roman brooches; a Middle/Late Saxon disc brooch and mount; a medieval buckle and strap end; medieval/post-medieval lead weights; post-medieval harness mounts, a silver hooked tag and copper alloy upholstery stud.

Late Bronze Age copper alloy sword blade fragment (S1).
Late Iron /Roman copper alloy flat backed mount (S2).
3 Roman pottery sherds and 2 brooches.
Middle/Late Saxon disc brooch (S3) and a mount.
1 medieval unglazed pottery sherd and a strap-end with a bar-mount.
2 medieval/post-medieval lead weights.
1 post-medieval pottery sherd, 4 harness mounts and a copper alloy upholstery stud.
2 undatable conical lead weights.
