A 1m x 1m test pit was excavated at The Hollies Community Centre by the Loddon and District History Group on 21 April 2012. It revealed prehistoric flint pot boilers, Late Saxon Thetford ware pottery, medieval pottery and post-medieval pottery, as well as more modern material.
