August 2012. Test pit.
A 1m x 1m test pit was excavated to the rear of Cadge and Gilbert, High St, by the Loddon and District History Group on 5 August 2012. It revealed Late Saxon Thetford ware pottery, medieval pottery and post-medieval pottery, as well as more modern material.
