Summary

Monitoring of groundworks revealed a possible post-medieval water course or drainage ditch,a pit and post hole. Medieval and post-medieval finds including ceramic building material, pottery, clay pipe and shell were also recovered.

Monitoring of groundworks associated with housing development.
This work revealed post-medieval features and a number of medieval and post-medieval finds were also recovered. The main post-medieval feature was a possible water course or wide ditch aligned at a north-north-east to south-south-west direction; other features were a pit and post hole.
The small collection of finds recovered included medieval and post-medieval ceramic building material and post-medieval pottery. A clay pipe fragment and an undated oyster shell were also found.
