Summary

Cropmarks of uncertain archaeological significance and origin are visible on aerial photographs. The ditch-like cropmarks were tentatively identified on Google Earth images, and were mapped in part due to their relative proximity to known Roman sites and significant find spots, and the fact that a shared alignment with parts of the nearby Roman complex (NHER 9083). However it is worth noting that the underlying geological conditions in this general area can create noticeably regular and rectilinear cropmarks.
