Summary

Fieldwalking and metal-detecting between 2012 and 2020 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton and a number of other, Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment; a Roman plate brooch; a Middle Saxon pin; a Late Saxon strap end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval rotary key; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy rings, a copper alloy unidentified object and copper alloy vessel foot and a post-medieval furniture drop-handle escutcheon plate and lead kosher meat seal.
