Summary

A cropmark of a ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs. This may represent the ploughed out remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch is within the polygon for NHER 3000 which refers to undated human burials discovered in 1743. It is possible that the human remains came from this possible barrow.

A cropmark of a ring ditch is visible on Google Earth aerial photographs from 2003 and 2006 (S1 and S2). This may represent the ploughed out remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch is within the polygon for NHER 3000 which refers to undated human burials discovered in 1743. It is possible that the human remains came from this possible barrow.
