Summary

The cropmarks of undated ditches are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Deopham Road, Attleborough. The extent of the site includes the area of additional possible cropmarks not mapped due to uncertainty over the archaeological origin. Linear cropmarks were also are visible on the edge of an oblique aerial photograph from 1977 to the southwest of the site. These were not mapped due to their being insufficient control points available to complete the rectification process. Also it is possible that they largely relate drains feeding into the ponds to the west of the site.
