Summary

Fieldwalking by Caistor Roman Project in 2012 recovered Roman, Middle Saxon and medieval to post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval and medieval/post-medieval roof tile fragments; medieval/post-medieval brick fragments; a post-medieval pipe clay wig curler and clay tobacco pipe stem and bowl fragments; post-medieval/modern glass sherds and undatable ceramic building material, clinker, animal bone fragments, shell and burnt flint.
