Summary

Metal-detecting between 2013 and 2025 recovered medieval pottery sherds; a Late Saxon/medieval pendant whetstone; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval tokens; a post-medieval jetton and a number of other, Early Iron Age, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an Early Iron Age brooch; Roman brooches and a lead steelyard weight; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval coin weight, harness mount, probable harness fitting, rowel spur, lead ampullas and lead weight; a medieval/post-medieval coin weight, copper alloy vessel fragments, lead weights and iron rotary key and a post-medieval harness mount, end cap from scale-tang knife and lead cloth seal.
