Summary

This flat-roofed brick guard room was constructed between 1940 and 1943. It was used to house racks of amplifiers feeding Tannoy speakers located across the station.

According to (S1) this building was constructed around 1943. It was used to house racks of amplifiers feeding numerous Tannoy speakers located around the station to convey information to station personnel.
