Summary

Fieldwalking after this area was cleared in 1988 recovered a Neolithic flint tool roughout and a number of undatable prehistoric flint flakes.

Fieldwalking finds, previously recorded under NHER 5090.

18 March 1988. Fieldwalking.
Land cleared by Forestry Commission for storage of pine logs. Area searched by J. J. Wymer in fair conditions. No flintwork on flood plain level. Found on eastern edge of clearance where ground rises to low terrace:
6 ?undatable prehistoric flint flakes and 1 thick crested flake (all unpatinated).
