This liquid oxygen compound was constructed for the Jaguar aircraft which arrived at Coltishall in 1974.
An officer stationed here during the 1970's recalls that high winds took the roof off of the nearby pool (NHER 59228) and deposited it on the roof of this LOX bay, delaying its use (S1).
