Map

March 2011. Geophysical Survey. Field 2.
Magnetometer survey recorded two linear anomalies and several ferrous anomalies. One east-west linear response has been identified as a post medieval field boundary which appears on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map. A second linear response that runs north-east from this field boundary does not appear on historic maps and may represent a field drain. One ferrous anomaly at the eastern end of the former field boundary marks the location of a former pond, while other anomalies at the edges of the field likely mark the location of former electricity pylons.
See (S1) for further information.

October 2019/January 2020. Geophysical Survey,
Magnetometer survey of part of large proposed development area (Area 5).
This survey of the southern portion of the field identified no potentially archaeologically-significant responses.
The anomalies detected were all either of probable agricultural origin or likely to have been caused by ferrous debris.
See report (S2) for further information.
