Full Description
Before 2002. Possibly metal-detecting [1].
From 'Sedgefield, Norfolk' (so perhaps meant to be Sedgeford):
1 Iron Age gold coin (Iceni stater).
Information from PAS import.
Coin within private collection and originally recorded for the Oxford University British Celtic Coin Index at some time prior to 2002. The above description includes some additional information from (S1). The exact provenance and circumstances of discovery appear to be unknown and the association with Sedgeford clearly only tentative [2].
A. Beckham (HES), 4 April 2013. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 26 March 2020.
