Summary

The Celtic Coin Index records an Iron Age coin with a provenance of 'Sedgefield, Norfolk' and it is suggested that this may therefore have come from Sedgeford. It is recorded that the coin (which is in a private collection) was found prior to 1998, but no other information regarding its provenance or circumstances of discovery is available.

From 'Sedgefield, Norfolk' (so perhaps meant to be Sedgeford):
1 Iron Age gold coin (Iceni stater).
Information from PAS import.
Coin within private collection and originally recorded for the Oxford University British Celtic Coin Index at some time prior to 2002. The above description includes some additional information from (S1). The exact provenance and circumstances of discovery appear to be unknown and the association with Sedgeford clearly only tentative [2].
