Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 2013 and 2025 recovered a medieval token and a range of other metal objects, including an Early/Middle Bronze Age flanged axehead fragment; a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch and mount; a Roman brooch, cosmetic mortar, mount, silver finger ring and lead weight; a Middle/Late Saxon pin and silver ring; a Late Saxon finger ring; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories (including a medieval silver brooch pin and a post-medieval silver hooked tag and silver finger ring); a medieval strap distributor, padlock key and copper alloy and lead seal matrices; medieval/post-medieval purse fragments, a candlestick fragment, thimble, copper alloy vessel fragments and lead weights and post-medieval harness mounts, a crotal bell, silver pin, lead powder flask cap and unidentified lead and iron object.

Medieval/post-medieval thimble, purse bar, pendent loop from purse frame, candlestick fragment, 2 copper alloy vessel fragments and 5 lead weights.
6 post-medieval buckles, 4 harness mounts, a hooked tag, button, crotal bell, gilded silver pin, lead powder flask cap and unidentified lead and iron object.
