Summary

A concentration of Roman pottery, coins and metal finds has been recovered during metal-detecting , predominantly in the northern portion of the field. This is indicative of a small Roman settlement. See NHER 28470 for details of individual finds recovered.

A concentration of Roman pottery, coins and metal finds recovered during metal-detecting on the site is indicative of a small Roman settlement. The finds were predominantly recovered from the northern portion of the field and the metal objects include a Roman brooch, figurine, finger ring, razor, copper alloy vessel fragment and weights.
