Summary

In around 1995 a number of objects were recovered in the garden of Peartree Farm (NHER 11053). These included Mesolithic and Neolithic flint axeheads, a medieval key and a post-medieval spoon. These finds were previously recorded under NHER 11053.

1995. Stray Find.
Found in garden of Pear Tree Farm (NHER 11053) and apparently seen and identified by Norwich Castle Museum (NCM):
1 medieval key
1 post medieval pewter spoon.
Additional finds seen by E. Rose (NLA) on a visit to Pear Tree Farm (and presumably also from the garden of the property) included:
1 Mesolithic flint axe or 'pick' [possibly a tranchet axehead?].
1 Neolithic rechipped broken flaked flint axehead.
It was believed that these finds had also been seen by the NCM.
