Summary

Systematic fieldwalking and metal-detecting by Caistor Roman Town Project in 2013 recovered undated and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated lead weight, a medieval/post-medieval lead weight and a post-medieval crotal bell, finger ring, lead weight and lead cloth seal. Metal-detecting in 2018 recovered a Middle Bronze Age gold penannular ring, a Roman brooch and a Late Saxon coin.
