Summary

Metal-detecting in 2011 and 2018 recovered a Mesolithic/Early Neolithic blade-like flint flake; Late Iron Age, Roman, Middle Saxon, and medieval coins and a number of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman brooch; Early Saxon brooch fragments and a buckle; a medieval purse bar fragment; a medieval/post-medieval buckle and thimble and post-medieval harness mounts and a toy cannon.
