Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 2014 and 2025 recovered a late prehistoric flint flake; a medieval coin; a medieval/post-medieval jetton and undated, Roman, medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated lead bead; a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment; Roman brooches; a Late Saxon harness fitting fragment; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval harness mounts, a leash swivel fragment, pendent loop from purse frame, copper alloy weight and lead die; a medieval/post-medieval cloth seal and post-medieval crotal bells, harness mounts, a possible book clasp and a lead weight.

Medieval harness bar-mount, lace chape, strap loop, buckle, pendent loop from a purse frame and a the female part of a swivel from a leash.
