Map

December 2013. Field visit.
A very low and spread bank that is hard to identify on the ground. It is 7-10m wide and no more
than 0.5m tall. It marks a boundary shown on the Hockwold tithe map (S1); sections of this
boundary were still in use in the 1880s when the Ordnance Survey First Edition 6 inch map (S2) was produced.
D. Robertson (HES), 31 July 2014.

October 2016. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The earthworks of boundary are clearly visible on the 0.5m resolution Lidar data (S3). The site has been extended to the northwest to include further surviving areas of this boundary bank [1]. It has not been mapped due to it being recorded on historic map sources and the lidar.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 10 October 2016.
